Update: Track Queens and Rankings

The tournament Track Queens: Battle Royal has had a huge impact on the rankings. It showed that all the competing teams (with the exception of London Brawling) are of a similar ability, meaning competition between European leagues is even more fierce. Before the tournament the lowest ranked team was Helsinki, who were number 22 on the rankings, now the lowest ranked team is Crime City at 16. This proves the high quality of these teams and makes the future of this sport in Europe even more exciting.

Winner advances to the 5th place playoff game against Gent, loser plays for seventh place against Crime City.

Helsinki were fairly dominant throughout the game, some strategical jammer changes in the second half saw Leeds brielfy run away with the score but Helisnki were able to power through to finish the game with a strong result. The results from day 2 of Track Queens will see Leeds at 14 and Helsinki at 11.

Winner advances to championship game against London Brawling, loser plays for third place against Auld Reekie.
A very close game throughout saw the last jam start with Berlin 10 points behind Stockholm. Berlin’s Master Blaster got lead and played with the intention of scoring until the end of the 2 minutes with both jammers matching points, an untimely error by Stockholm’s Mad Malooney allowed Berlin a power jam and they went on to narrowly win this semi-final game. At the end of day 2 of the tournament, Berlin move up to 4 and Stockholm stay at 3.
