Home team Glasgow had an incredibly strong performance against up and comers Brighton. The beginning of the first half saw Glasgow racking up the points but Brighton fought back minimising the points differential and taking advantage of power jams to bring the score to GRD 85 : 60 BR. The second half saw a much tighter defence from the visitors but Glasgow were able wear it down and finish the game with a lead of nearly 200 points. Glasgow will benefit from such a big score differential and move up to 4 in the rankings. Brighton will slip down to 13.
Update: Leeds and Stuttgart become full WFTDA teams
A further development for European roller derby as WFTDA has announced that Leeds and Stuttgart have graduated from the WFTDA apprenticeship program and are now full WFTDA teams. This brings the total to 25 European WFTDA affiliated leagues.
